Heritage Walking Tours

The tour is a 1.1 mile, 2 hours long walking tour that focuses on the history of Downtown Racine.

Architectural Tour

Self-guided, mobile friendly exploration of Downtown Racine’s beautifully preserved architecture and marvel as you learn about the amazing businesses that have occupied these historic buildings through the years.

Underground Railroad

First Presbyterian Church offers a tour to view what was probably a former stop on the escape route for slaves & includes a tunnel where slaves have hidden and walls of quilts that tells a story.

SC Johnson Tower Tours

1525 Howe St.

The tour features the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Administration Building and Research Tower, as well as Foster + Partners-designed Fortaleza Hall

Indian Motorcycle

522 6th St.

View some motorcycles in this completely renovated building that was a Nash dealership in the 1940’s. Many of the original features are preserved or repurposed.


With not one, but two premier museums – the Racine Art Museum, known for its contemporary craft and art, and the Racine Heritage Museum, which delves into the local history – visitors can immerse themselves in a diverse range of exhibits.  Additionally, the Fire Department Museum offers a unique glimpse unto the firefighting history of Racine.
