Celebrate the start of another fall season at Swan’s Pumpkin Farm with Pumpkins & Kites – Opening Day!
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10 AM–4 PM, the skies above the pumpkin patch will come alive with colorful kites as Swan’s officially kicks off the fall season. Whether you’re an experienced kite flyer or trying it for the very first time, this special event offers a fun and unique way for the whole family to welcome autumn.
Make a kite, bring a kite, or buy a kite! Guests can join a hands-on kite-making workshop with sticks, string, and colorful sails provided to create their own kite and send it soaring over the farm. Have a favorite kite at home? Bring it along and take advantage of Swan’s wide-open fields. Kites will also be available for purchase at a special Gift of Wings pop-up shop.
And the best part? Pumpkins & Kites is also Opening Day at Swan’s Pumpkin Farm! It’s your first opportunity of the season to get back to the farm, enjoy the sights and flavors of fall, and begin another season of family traditions at Swan’s.
